A brand new, state-of-the-art convention centre recently opened in Osijek in Croatia. The project worth 9.5 million EUR will provide new business infrastructure and spaces for trade fairs and congress events. Thus, the venue is set to significantly advance the economic visibility of the region and attract international events.

The newly-opened venue already hosted its first event, a spring fair, which included 170 exhibitors from Croatia and abroad. The venue stretches more than 2,500 m2 of exhibition space.

Advancing the trade show business in the region

Osijek, as the leader in the development of eastern Croatia, has been recording better business results in recent years. The new venue will enable the development of new products and services for small and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurial support services and a network of businesses.

The investment was financed by the funds of Osijek-Baranja County, the European Union and the Ministry of Regional Development and EU funds, and was built in partnership with the City of Osijek.
