Three things:
- Innovative ideas that I have never seen before
- Purpose-driven ideas that make a difference to people or the planet
- Did they meet and deliver beyond the brief’s expectations?
Q2: What advice would you give to agencies and brands thinking about what event to put forward for Conventa Best Event Award?
Storytelling – make certain all aspects are explained very easily for everyone to understand.
Metrics – demonstrate the impact it made and how it added value.
Imagery – capture it with great photography that showcases all the key elements.
Q3: What tips would you give to agencies and brands putting together case studies for their events?
Utilise the rule of three and keep it to one page:
- Break it up into 3 parts: the insight (strategy for the brief, idea (concept and story) and result (metrics)
- Show three main images that hero it
- Be sure to use a good copywriter and designer to make the case study look incredible
Q4: What kind of results and ROI metrics impress you in a case study, and which ones disappoint?
Vanity metrics do not impress me as much (number of people at the event, brochures handed out, etc.) Actionable metrics impress me (hands on engagement, new leads, sales, deals closed, etc).
