Between 28 February and 2 March, Ljubljana and Cankarjev dom will host one of the most resounding events of the year – the IAPCO 2024 Annual Meeting and General Assembly. Cankarjev dom, a leading Slovenian PCO, has been a proud IAPCO member since 1980. Their team has been working with IAPCO to deliver a programme that will help attendees inspire, innovate and navigate the ever-evolving landscape of the events industry.

The illustrious event will commence with a welcome reception at Cankarjev dom, where attendees will exchange ideas and form meaningful connections on the first day. Over the next few days, compelling stories and industry trends will be discussed at the conference. Not least, attendees can look forward to a dinner at the National Gallery of Slovenia and Ljubljana Castle and a journey to the underground world of Postojna Cave.

Be the Flow

The event slogan encapsulates the essence of momentum, collaboration and progress. It will help participants and stakeholders stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving meetings and events industry. The 2024 AM&GA promises to deliver a diverse yet well-thought-out and curated programme of content and knowledge exchange with significantly more opportunities for IAPCO members to discuss what is impacting their businesses today and tomorrow. Sustainability in focus

IAPCO Ljubljana 2024 places a strong focus on minimising the environmental impact and promoting sustainability. One of the goals is to make the event more environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and aligned with sustainability principles. The organisers are convinced that every small action counts, so they appeal to participants and all stakeholders involved in the organisation to help create a greener future. They have selected 12 of the 17 UN sustainable goals, which they will follow.

Uncovering Slovenia’s hidden gems

Attendees will have the chance to explore the landscapes of Slovenia and gain insights into unique local cultures and practices. The curated program includes the Old Town Walking Tour, the Ljubljana Castle Visit and the Postojna Caves Exploration. The host venue, Cankarjev dom, will pull out all the stops to ensure attendees have a memorable conference in Ljubljana. In addition, the venue will go the extra mile to implement sustainable measures and thus contribute to a socially responsible IAPCO event.
