WHERE FILMS MEET EVENTS
Nestled in an old factory hall in Zagreb, Studio Katran became a modern event place thanks to the extensive renovation and vision of Dorijan Kljun, a photographer with more than ten years of experience and a passionate driver of oldtimers. The guiding principle of the venue is to provide a location for filming companies where they can also host their meetings, castings and rehearsals. Later, the venue evolved to cater to event organisers as well.
Studio Katran is, first and foremost, a space where meeting planners can organise a wedding, an ingenious event or a meeting. Alternatively, the space is ideal for film shoots. The unique photo studio, stretching across 650 square metres, boasts cutting-edge lighting and is divided into four separate studio spaces.
The event professionals at Studio Katran are adept at providing great tips to event organisers and ensuring every event runs without a glitch. The venue can accommodate between 40 and 400 participants.
Alternative choice to generic hotel conference halls
Amid a flood of typical conference halls with generic design and outlay, Studio Katran offers a refreshing new approach to events. The versatility of the event space enables event organisers to host a presentation for 200 people, a workshop and a lunch break while filming their promotional video in the adjacent room. The (r)evolutionary concept in Zagreb has been attracting a slew of outside-the-box-thinking meeting planners.
