PLZŇKA, A MULTIPURPOSE CULTURAL HOUSE
After extensive reconstruction, which began in 2014, Cultural House Plzeňka was ceremoniously reopened on September 2, 2015. The gala evening featured professional and local music and dance groups, which tested all the renovated spaces, including the new technical equipment.
The beautiful representative space from the first republic boasts a large ballroom and two lounges, perfect for anything from proms or graduations to private celebrations or corporate banquets.
It can accommodate a total of 400 people, served by 2 bars.
Beside the main dance hall, the Cultural House also offers smaller venues where guests can enjoy film and theatre, as well as musical and literary evenings. Klubová scéna (the Club Stage) also serves as a meeting place for Beroun associations and various other social events.
During the pandemic, the building, which was first a horse stable and later a boiler room in the yard of KD Plzeňka, was transformed into a new club. Perfect for smaller music performances, the industrial character of this place fits well with its name – KOTELNA. The club, just like the ballroom and lounges, can be rented for a relaxing night out, or to talk business.
KD Plzeňka holds a special place as a cultural hub, offering a diverse range of events where all members of the community which the Cultural House so dilligently unites, can find something to their liking.
