The world’s largest multi-sport event for the LGBT community will take place in Vienna for the first time in July 2024.

Around 4,000 LGBT athletes from all over the world will compete for medals in some 35 sports in Vienna between July 17 and 20, 2024. This event is taking place in Vienna for the first time. Its motto is ‘Embrace Diversity.’ The innovation of these games is the aim of reducing male dominance in sports. Women, trans*, inter* and non-binary people are particularly welcome this year.

Across 20 locations in Vienna

This is why some of the sports will also be played without gender restrictions. These include bowling, bridge, darts, minigolf and squash. Two sports categories are even aimed specifically at women and non-binary people: martial arts and roller derby. The competitions will be held in more than 20 locations across Vienna. The EuroGames have been organized as a Green Event.

The centrepiece of the EuroGames 2024 is the EuroGames Village on Vienna’s Karlsplatz. In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies, various events, ranging from concerts and film screenings to discussions, will take place here over four days. It will also be possible for participants to register in the immediate vicinity.
