The project involved the use of magnid for the planning, organization, and execution of a multinational corporate event for the merger of DSM and Firmenich, involving 30,000 employees worldwide. The event took place simultaneously at 18 locations worldwide and was administered from a central streaming studio in Munich.
For the merger event, a virtual headquarters was created on the magnid platform, serving as a communication hub during and after the merger. This facilitated access to live broadcasts and interactions during the event. After the event, the application continued to be used for brand and value experiences, social media campaigns, virtual town halls, and as a digital showroom.
The Event Technology Awards, which have previously been held in London to recognize technological advancements in the event industry, took place for the first time in Las Vegas, USA, on May 1, 2024.
