NEW TALLEST BUILDING IN SLOVENIA

Crystal Tower, officially the tallest tower in Slovenia, was recently inaugurated in Rogaška Slatina. At 106 metres, the tower is also the tallest building in the country. The Crystal Tower offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area and provides a new space for events with its unique crystal-like appearance. The tower follows the concept of an urban viewpoint.

The Crystal Tower will be a catalyst for the tourist development of the destination, not only as an observation point but as a hotspot for learning and convening. Guests will be able to hang out in the cafe, buy souvenirs and learn more about Rogaška Slatina and its surroundings through interactive content. The holistic offer will be connected by Slatina mineral water. The project aims to present the story of the thermal Slovenian outpost, from its history, cuisine, and tradition to the local offer.

Virtual experiences about Rogaška Slatina

On the second floor, where the viewing platform is located, guests can learn about the legend of Pegasus and historical events in Rogaška Slatina through a VR experience. Legend has it that Pegasus discovered the first healing spring in Rogaška Slatina. This legendary creature will take guests on a journey through the destination’s rich history.

Revitalising the city and connecting providers

Since the Crystal Tower protrudes from the canopies of a previously disadvantaged area, the municipality of Rogaška Slatina will enable the development and revitalisation of the area with the project. An integral part of the offer is providing guests with a Slatina mineral water tasting from special glasses made by Steklarna Rogaška. The opportunity will also be given to other local providers who will be able to present their work during individual exhibitions or events.

On the first floor, the Crystal Tower offers a cafe with eleven tables for 44 visitors. Event organisers will be able to host their participants and then take them to an open observation deck atop the tallest building in Slovenia.
