The BSF panel discussion brought together representatives from Israel and Palestine, who shared their efforts for peace in the Middle East. The Schrott Days were dedicated to doctors and pharmacists who shared new developments in family medicine and telemedicine. The ACER agency presented the latest findings at a meeting in Ljubljana, while the Working Group for Interventional Cardiology discussed advances in cardiovascular medicine.


The Slovenian Conference on Addiction Treatment introduced advancements and several treatment programmes. Sustainable mobility was the main point of the roundtable discussion, attracting predominantly students of the respective fields connected to the theme. The International Fotona Weekend convened a record number of 1,300 participants focused on the advancements in the field of medical lasers. The European Conference on Thermal Sciences encouraged international cooperation among experts in the field, set against the backdrop of the picturesque Bled. In the following days, the Symposium on the advancements in robotic kinematics brought together experts and researchers in the field. Between 5 and 9 July, Cankarjev dom also hosted the 27th International Congress of the Colour Vision Society, where hundreds of doctors, optometrists, psychologists, animal physiologists, neuroscientists, engineers and industrial designers came together from across the globe.
