Conference clients at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre can now enjoy even more impactful presentations, thanks to state-of-the-art conference technology. This is made possible by the installation of a new LED wall at the venue. The largest LED setup in a conference room in Finland, it spans 23 meters in width and covers an area of over 100 square meters. This upgrade significantly enhances the technical possibilities of the largest seminar hall at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

The largest meeting room (room 101) at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre is known for hosting a wide variety of events, including seminars, evening celebrations, exhibitions, anniversary celebrations, shareholder meetings, and concerts. The room has a seating capacity of 1,100 for seminars and can accommodate 560 guests for gala events.

The new LED wall in the meeting room consists of three sections and allows for versatile content presentation, such as displaying an image behind the speaker or showing video or multiple images simultaneously. The LED wall offers top-notch brightness and contrast, making it easy to adjust the atmosphere of the event using colours, lighting, video, animation, and streaming. The wide display area also provides a striking opportunity for branding.

The LED wall was manufactured for Messukeskus by Samsung Electronics, and its delivery and installation were carried out by Studiotec.

High-quality presentation technology is crucial for the success of meetings. The impressive LED wall and superior image quality enhance communication, make presentations more impactful, and increase the productivity of meetings. I would like to thank our partners, Studiotec and Samsung Electronics. With this upgrade, our presentation technology will reach a new level, creating a visually pleasing and technologically advanced meeting environment,” says Marcus Bergström, Business Director of Messukeskus Events & Congresses.

The meeting room’s other features have also been upgraded by enhancing ventilation, improving acoustics, and increasing options for camera filming. The ceiling lighting has been updated to allow for adjustable colour and warmth to suit the needs of each event. Additionally, the stage and stairs in the hall have been renovated.
