During the recently concluded Olympic Games in Paris, the catering and gastronomy at the Slovenia House was coordinated by Jezeršek Catering. Between 26 July and 11 August 2024, they served Slovenian Olympians with quality Slovenian cuisine. They also promoted young talents in the hospitality industry by inviting the young Hospitality Ambassador Klara Šmigoc to join them.

Jezeršek Catering continues its tradition of participating in the world’s most important sporting event – the Olympic Games. In 1992, they catered for 25 Slovenian athletes and other guests in Albertville. In 2018, Slovenian delicacies again delighted visitors at the Slovenia House at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, crafted by Jezeršek’s culinary masters.

“I am pleased that we signed a contract with Jezeršek Catering, which ensured a top-notch culinary experience at the Slovenia House. This was the largest Slovenia House to date. Ensuring that gourmets and food enthusiasts in France are satisfied is the hallmark of Jezeršek Catering,” emphasized OKS – ZŠZ President Franjo Bobinac.

“We are proud to be a major partner of the Slovenia House again this year where we ensured that top-notch Slovenian cuisine.”

Jezeršek Catering’s role at the Slovenia House Paris 2024 was even greater. In addition to providing comprehensive catering services, they were also responsible for coordinating the suppliers for the Slovenia House. Jezeršek Catering’s Director Martin Jezeršek thanked everyone who ensured high-quality offerings and services at the Slovenia House: “We are proud to be a major partner of the Slovenia House again this year where we ensured that top-notch Slovenian cuisine and quality service impressed all those visiting the Slovenia House during the Olympic Games.”

Top Slovenian Cuisine at the Slovenia House

In addition to hosting Slovenian medal winners, the Slovenia House was also used for business meetings and foreign delegations. “We are delighted to be able to present Slovenian cuisine to foreign guests as well, further enhancing Slovenia’s recognition on the world gastronomic map,” explains Luka Jezeršek. Jezeršek Catering prepared a special seated lunch for select guests at the Slovenia House in collaboration with Slovenia’s top chef and three Michelin-star recipient Ana Roš and her team from Hiša Franko.

This time, a 23-member team of Jezeršek Catering professionals cooked mouthwatering dishes in Paris. In addition to the culinary and service staff, they were joined by four promising students, selected through the “With Jezeršek to the Slovenia House 2024” competition, which aims to promote the hospitality profession among young people.
