BREAD FACTORY TURNED EVENT SPACE

The Kulturhaus Brotfabrik is an event hall nestled between the concrete studios and galleries of a former bread factory, pairing industrial aesthetics with innovative furnishings. The impressive setting includes the Anchor Lounge, perfect for secluded, exclusive events thanks to its private terrace. As part of the community arts centre initiated by Caritas, the Anchor Hall is a location with immense CSR value.

In addition to its event hall, the Kulturhaus Brotfabrik offers a coworking space spanning the entire second floor. Here, community-oriented project teams and young creatives work together in an office with 35 workstations. Modern conference rooms are ideal for brainstorming sessions or boutique events. The venue event provides in-house catering thanks to the Magdas Kantine on the ground floor.

The flagship of Kulturhaus Brotfabrik is The Anchor Hall, a multifunctional event hall with excellent acoustics, lighting, sound, projection and video technology and a variable stage system. It can accommodate up to 340 attendees in a theatre setting.

Sustainability in the limelight

Vienna is home to a slate of forward-thinking, green venues. One of them is the Kulturhaus Brotfabrik, where organising environment-friendly events is at the forefront. The venue recently acquired the Austrian Ecolabel, which guarantees the venue’s heating and air conditioning systems are operated optimally, water-saving technology is used, a waste management concept is in place, and detergents and cleaning agents are ecologically degradable. 100% green electricity is also used in the Kulturhaus Brotfabrik. Many of the events and workshops at Kulturhaus Brotfabrik are free of charge so as not to exclude anyone due to a lack of financial resources.
