In mid-November, two Polish B2B MICE journalists embarked on a three-day press trip to Prague, where they had the opportunity to explore the city’s diverse congress, meetings, and incentive offerings. The visit allowed the journalists to experience firsthand the vibrant MICE scene in the Czech capital, gaining a deeper understanding of its potential for hosting international events.
From Wednesday, April 13 to Friday, April 15, the Prague Convention Bureau hosted another press trip for international journalists focused on the meetings industry. On this occasion, two journalists representing the Polish edition of Business Traveller magazine and MICE Poland magazine visited Prague. Throughout their visit, the journalists were given an extensive overview of the city’s offerings, including its world-class congress and social venues and top-tier accommodation options.
The program also featured a variety of activities designed to highlight Prague’s appeal as an incentive destination. Among the unique experiences was a scenic cruise along the Vltava River with a lunch and presentation of high-tech electric catamarans or a beer tapster academy, allowing the participants to learn the art of Czech beer pouring. The trip included a sightseeing tour of Prague’s historic city centre as well, where the journalists explored some of the city’s most iconic landmarks and the journalists also had the opportunity to sample a variety of authentic Czech dishes, adding a culinary dimension to their exploration of Prague’s MICE offerings.
Prague Convention Bureau thanks the partners involved in the press trip, namely: the Vienna House by Wyndham Andel’s Prague for providing accommodation for the journalists, ADO services for arranging transfers, Prague City Tourism for providing the Prague Visitor Passes for journalists and also Prague Boats and Pilsner Urquell: The Original Beer Experience Prague for organising the incentive programs. We would also like to thank the Deer Restaurant, Red Stag Restaurant Jelen, Obecní dům Restaurant, Kuchyň Restaurant and also the Prague Exhibition Grounds, Lobkowicz Palace, Deelive Design Store and the NH Collection Prague Carlo IV, Innside by Mélia Prague, The Julius Prague and The Cloud One hotels for site inspections and refreshments.
