Now in its seventh year, the programme, run in partnership with M&IT, continues to drive The Meetings Show’s pledge to provide a platform for the next generation to thrive.
Tomorrow’s Talent provides an invaluable opportunity for up-and-coming individuals to gain exposure, build connections, and enhance their careers within the dynamic business meetings and events sector.
The prize includes an invite to the M&IT Awards in September for fantastic networking opportunities and VIP access to The Meetings Show on 25-26 June at Excel London. Additionally, each selected individual will have the chance to gain valuable insight and mentorship from industry leaders on an ongoing basis.
Tomorrow’s Talent is open to UK-based event planners and buyers who are aged 30 or under, or who have up to three years of experience in the meetings and events industry. A distinguished panel of industry experts will select the top 10 most promising applicants, who will also receive exclusive opportunities throughout the year to enhance their visibility within the industry.
The judges are:
- Paul Harvey, editor M&IT
- Leigh Cowlishaw, managing partner Black Box Partnerships
- Patrick Delaney, managing partner, Soolnua
- Priya Narain, co-founder, Event First Steps
- Gabby Austen-Browne, founder, Diversity Alliance
- Gracia Kabongo, Senior Associate, Stakeholder Engagement and Events Lead, Ofwat, and Tomorrow’s Talent winner 2019
Applications for Tomorrow’s Talent close on 24 January 2025. Planners can either nominate themselves or be nominated by an industry colleague, with submissions to be made in writing OR via video, to an agreed set of criteria.
