Celebrating Innovation, Authenticity, and Sustainability in Live Communication
The 19th edition of the BEA World Festival, the international benchmark event for live communication, has concluded with unprecedented numbers: 463 entries from 38 countries and 110 agencies involved. The event took place at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone as part of the Live Communication Week from November 26 to 29.
This year’s theme, “Hyper Authentic,” guided all activities, emphasizing the importance of authentic experiences in an era dominated by technology and artificial intelligence. The concept was curated by the agency NoLoop, winner of the BEA Italia 2023 with the House of Campari project.
During the Live Presentation days, agencies showcased their finalist projects before an international jury of over 40 industry experts, chaired by Guilherme Bailão, Director of Brand Experience & Sponsorship at Heineken Group – Brazil. Key trends highlighted included innovative uses of technology and sustainability, which are increasingly central to event design.
The program was further enriched by seminars and workshops addressing key themes for the future of the events industry, such as artificial intelligence and engagement. Renowned speakers, including Josh Stinton, Colja Dams, and Thierry Reboul, Executive Director for Creative Branding and Ceremonies, Paris Olympic Games 2024, shared valuable insights and strategic visions to tackle industry challenges.
