The local organising committee, composed of ten leading Slovenian experts in rheumatology has preapred a comprehensive expert programme in partnership with the international programme committee. The programme allowed attendees to discuss pressing topics. The established practice of CECR is that each of the participating countries has the opportunity to suggest topics and keynote speakers.
The organisational committee, helmed by Dr. Žiga Rotar, the head of the Department of Rheumatology at Ljubljana’s University Medical Centre, selected Cankarjev dom as the host venue. They entrusted the venue’s experienced PCO team with the organisation and execution of the event.
The congress, attended by 328 participants, took place in Linhart and Kosovel Halls. Both halls are connected to the second foyer, where the organisers held the registration, presentation of sponsors and a poster section.
