Following a successful collaboration in 2023, NHS ConfedExpo organisers entrusted First Sight Media to enhance the 2024 event. The challenge: to elevate the delegate experience by creating engaging, impactful content beyond traditional stage sessions. Rising to the occasion, First Sight Media introduced two purpose-built studios, collectively known as “The Content Zone”. It comprised the Speakers’ Studio, featuring relaxed, in-depth conversations with NHS and healthcare leaders, alongside exhibitor interviews offering unique perspectives. This fueled an “always on” TV-style livestream, reducing audience fatigue and significantly minimising livestream drop-off rates. The visually striking studios became a key attraction on the exhibition floor, enriching the delegate experience.
The Podcast Zone was a platform for healthcare leaders to record podcasts, promote their content and enhance event value for sponsors and attendees alike.
Over the two-day event, First Sight Media produced more than 24 hours of valuable content, available for on-demand viewing. The sessions, hosted on NHS ConfedExpo’s YouTube channel, garnered over 1,500 views at the time of the award submission, ensuring the event’s longevity. The conference attracted 5,600 in-person and online attendees, marking a significant success.
