Information on national pavilions and the eye-catching wooden ring called the Grand Ring Roof has already been released, generating much anticipation. The Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau collaborates with the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition to promote this event so that visitors from around the world can have a truly unique World Expo experience.
Pavilions
As of December 2024, 161 countries/ regions and 9 international organizations have officially declared their participation in Expo 2025. The event will also feature 13 pavilions from the private sector, in addition to the Japan Pavilion, Women’s Pavilion, Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, Kansai Pavilion, and the Signature Pavilions, led by eight producers, located at the centre of the Expo venue. Each country will have either an independent or shared pavilion, where they will showcase the latest innovations from their region.
The Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, jointly exhibited by Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City with universities, companies, and other organizations, will provide an exhibition experience aimed at visitors of all ages, under the theme of “REBORN”, from the perspectives of life and health. Visitors will be able to take a peek at their future selves based on their Personal Health Record (PHR) and experience future food and healthcare.
