FORMER CLIMATIC HEALTH RESORT FOR CHILDREN TURNED EVENT VENUE
Villa Valdepian is a captivating Istrian Villa, fronting the glistening Adriatic Sea. Shaded by imposing centuries-old pine trees, this villa for events dates to 1908, when it was established as a climatic health resort for children. The story of the villa says Styrian philanthropist Baroness Anna Plochl first founded the Anna-Kinderspital Children’s Hospital in Graz. Villa Valdepian was built posthumously in her honour, abutting the iconic Savudrija lighthouse.
Event organisers can host events for up to 100 attendees at Villa Valdepian and combine the experience with amazing in-house catering. From birthdays to wedding anniversaries, the property has become a sought-after venue for smaller business events, including team-building activities and brand launches.
Gourmets will enjoy the offer of the venue’s Anna’s Garden boutique bistro, which serves superb gastronomy that revolves around local and seasonal ingredients. Chef Marko Gorela prepares dishes according to antique recipes but always with a modern twist.
