MEETEX (Croatian Meeting Experience Summit) is the only MICE networking event that exclusively presents Croatia as a meetings and incentive destination to international buyers, bringing together numerous domestic exhibitors/service providers for the organization of business events. Its seventh edition will be held from 1 to 3 April 2025 at the Westin Zagreb Hotel.
MEETEX, as one of the most famous European boutique MICE events, focuses on quality business meetings and provides international meeting planners with a unique first-hand experience of the destination. In addition to European buyers, who make up the majority of foreign participants, this year, the largest number of buyers from Canada and the USA have announced their arrival. In addition, the first arrivals of representatives from the Middle East market are also expected.
Business meetings, socializing and networking
The rich program begins with a study trip for a group of buyers to Dalmatia and an introduction to the beauties of our coast, especially in the segment of incentive trips organization.
The central, Zagreb-based part of the program begins on 1 April with an evening gathering of all participants on the 17th floor of the Westin Hotel overlooking the city. The following two days are reserved for pre-arranged B2B meetings, 15 minutes each, between hosted buyers and Croatian exhibitors in the Crystal Hall of the Westin Hotel. Between sets of meetings, the organizers have prepared numerous opportunities for informal socializing and networking, along with several interesting educational lectures by industry experts, such as Sandra Loidolt from Vienna, a consultant, trainer and HR expert, and Rob Davidson, a renowned British expert, event management professor, lecturer and author.
A gala dinner for all participants will be held on the second evening of MEETEX at the famous SOL restaurant on Ban Jelačić Square, with Croatian-style tapas and appropriate thematic entertainment.
Sightseeing in Zagreb and Medvednica
With the support of the Zagreb Tourist Board, after the end of MEETEX, international participants will have the opportunity to get to know the charm of the Croatian metropolis, its rich cultural and historical heritage, visit the most famous gastronomic points, along with a unique full-day visit to Zagreb’s mountain – Medvednica, and learn about the possibilities for organization of incentive activities.
In addition to Zagreb, study trips and tours will also be organized in Dubrovnik, Kvarner and Istria.
