This marks a renewed commitment to positioning Sarawak as the capital of legacy impact for Malaysia and Borneo through three transformative initiatives:
LEGACY360, Business Events for a Sustainable Future, Southeast Asia’s first event dedicated to business event legacies. 3000 delegates from across the region will gather on 2 October 2025 to share their social, economic, and environmental initiatives and take action for change. Kind Borneo, a non-profit expo that promotes corporate social responsibility, will be hosted in conjunction with the event.
Borneo Inspires Legacy Awards (BILA), Borneo’s first and only award ceremony on business event legacies, taking place on 3 October 2025. BILA offers 18 awards across 5 categories to business event changemakers and supporting roles, such as vendors and journalists.
AI.LEGACY, an intelligent impact management system specifically designed to measure, monitor, and report the quantitative and qualitative impact of business events hosted in Sarawak aligned to the Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy and UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Since 2019, Sarawak has been on a transformative journey, shifting its business events focus from tourism-centric to legacy-driven outcomes with the strong support from the Sarawak Government.
Sarawak is proving its impact-driven approach by actively partnering with industry players who are equally committed to creating meaningful outcomes through business events:
- Borneo Adventure Tours and Travel (travel & tour agency)
- Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (venue)
- Business Events Sarawak (convention bureau)
- CPH Travel (travel & tour agency)
- Mulu and Miri Marriott Resort & Spa (venue and accommodation)
