PRAGUE’S MOST STUNNING RENAISSANCE PALACE
The Martinicky Palace, within spitting distance of the Prague Castle, exudes prestige from the 16th century. Event organisers can rent this venue for social events, banquets, concerts, conferences, exhibitions and seminars.
Martinický Palace is renowned for its exquisite sgraffito facades and its intricately painted beam ceilings that adorn many of the rooms. The palace chapel, attached to the main hall, boasts frescoes inspired by Dürer, including depictions of Adam and Eve.

The origins of Martinický Palace trace back to the aftermath of the devastating fire of 1541, which ravaged the Hradčany and Malá Strana districts. In the wake of this calamity, Andrew Teyffle of Zeilberg acquired the charred remnants of several Gothic houses and initiated their transformation into a Renaissance masterpiece. In 1583, the estate changed hands to George Bořita of Martinice, a prominent Bohemian nobleman, who embarked on an ambitious reconstruction, infusing the palace with grandeur.
