The resort’s trump card will have sea views from every room. The renovated part of the building will feature 58 rooms measuring 33 square meters. The other part will offer a conference hall with a bar and meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 400 guests. The newly constructed and glazed part of the building will have 40 rooms and another eight apartments measuring between 70 to 120 square meters.
The initiator of the project, Danko Končar, is satisfied with the fact that the team of about seventy employees is nearly complete: “We are pleased that in times of shortage of quality labour force in tourism, we managed to attract local workers. This was one of our main missions. In general, our plan is open the hotel in a month. Our comparative advantage lies in the fact that we offer a unified user experience. We are not just a hotel and a gastronomic centre, but a luxury destination that currently offers the most per capita space in Croatia, but this is what is lacking in high-quality tourism and attracting guests.”
Tomislav Korošec, the GM, explained: “We are ready in all aspects, we want to start work as soon as possible. We participated in a series of international tourism fairs and received the best possible reviews from agencies and tourism professionals. Our booking opens soon, but since it is already April, it is worth emphasising that we will put extra focus on our promotion in the off-season as an important aspect of Istrian and Croatian tourism.”
