The Prague meetings industry, officially represented by the Prague Convention Bureau, has gained new leadership by electing a new Board of Directors and members of the Revisory Committee.

The General Assembly meeting of the Prague Convention Bureau took place on 30 April 2025. The Prague Convention Bureau’s Board of Directors consists of five members with a three-year term of office, representing five sections of the association – namely Professional Congress Organisers (PCOs), event agencies (Destination Management Companies – DMC), venues, hotels and suppliers of accompanying services.

Immediately after the General Assembly meeting, a constituent meeting of the new Board of Directors took place, where its Chair and two Vice-Chairs were elected. The current composition of the Board of Directors for the next three-year period is as follows:

  • Jan Kubinec (services), AV MEDIA EVENTS, Chair of the Board of Directors;
  • Marie Šteglová (venues), Prague Exhibition Ground, Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors;
  • Daniel Nedvěd (DMCs), Asiana MICE – Europea Travel, Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors;
  • Kateřina Joklová (hotels), Vienna House by Wyndham Andel‘s Prague, Member of the Board of Directors;
  • Dana Prejzková (PCOs), AIM Group Prague, Member of the Board of Directors.

Marie Šteglová, representing the Prague Exhibition Grounds, who worked in the Revisory Committee in the previous term, has become a new member of the Board of Directors. Marie has also replaced Lenka Žlebková, a long-time member of the Board of Directors representing the Prague Congress Centre, who decided not to run for the post of a member of the Board of Directors due to time constraints.

Changes have also taken place in the Prague Convention Bureau Revisory Committee. Alena Zajíčková from NH Prague City & NH Collection Prague and Eliška Jehličková from INNSiDE by Melia Prague Old Town were newly elected to the Revisory Committee. Aleš Moravec of the National House Vinohrady continues in his position as Chair of the Revisory Committee, while Martin Haloun, representing Auletris has decided not to run for the next term.
