Event Leaders Exchange (ELX) announced its recent acceptance as a Member of the Events Industry Council, the global voice of the events industry. This milestone comes as ELX celebrates its 4th anniversary, marking four years of uniting senior corporate event leaders from some of the world’s most influential brands.

This milestone comes as Event Leaders Exchange celebrates its 4th anniversary, marking four years of uniting senior corporate event leaders from some of the world’s most influential brands.

ELX joins more than 30 Association Members and more than 25 Corporate Members, together representing more than 103,500 individuals and 19,500 firms and properties involved in the events industry.

“We are thrilled to have ELX as a new member and look forward to having their voice added to the important work EIC does to support the global business events industry,” said EIC CEO Amy Calvert.

As an Events Industry Council member, Event Leaders Exchange will contribute to the far-reaching work of the global coalition, including support and thought leadership to help shape EIC’s core programmes.

These include the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) programme, the gold-standard credential for the industry; the EIC Centre for Sustainability and Social Impact, and the Accepted Practices Exchange (APEX), which promotes industry-wide research. The programme also includes the Knowledge programme and the Leadership Programme, which create learning and career development opportunities and seek to advance the industry through advocacy, research and global recognition.

EIC’s diverse membership works in more than 100 countries and represents virtually every sector of the global business events industry.

“ELX was founded to give senior corporate event leaders a platform to connect and drive meaningful change. Partnering with EIC enables us to amplify that voice on a global stage and collaborate on the issues that will shape our industry’s future,” said ELX CEO, Nicola Kastner.
