In addition to attractive European cities, several exotic destinations, popular winter holiday places, and weekend retreats have also been added. Among the new destinations compared to the 2024/2025 winter operating season are, for example, Amman (Ryanair), Abu Dhabi (Etihad Airways), Beirut (Eurowings), Bordeaux (easyJet, Volotea), Cork (Aer Lingus), Marrakech (Eurowings), Sharjah (Air Arabia), Toulouse (Smartwings), alongside Iasi, Yerevan and Skopje (Wizz Air). New charter flights will complement the offer with, for example, the Maldives, Muscat, and Sharm el-Sheikh. The number of weekly frequencies will also be increased on more than 20 regular routes. These include Athens, Dublin, Reykjavík, Paris, Catania, Copenhagen, and Málaga.

Smartwings and the greatest increase in direct flight offers
A significant driver of the increase in the offered seat capacity at Václav Havel Airport Prague in the winter season is the airline Smartwings, which is increasing its capacity by more than 260 thousand seats year-on-year. Under the winter flight schedule, it will offer new connections to, for example, Brussels, Bucharest, Bilbao, Porto, Barcelona, and Rome, and at the same time increase the frequency of flights on popular routes to Malaga, Madrid, and Paris.
In the 2025/2026 winter season, new carriers will be welcomed to Prague, for example, Air Arabia (Sharjah), AJet (Istanbul/SAW), Animawings (Bucharest), alongside airlines which launched their operations to Prague during the last summer season, namely Asiana Airlines (Taipei), Condor (Frankfurt), and Etihad Airways (Abu Dhabi). In total, over 45 thousand flights will depart from Prague during the winter, i.e., 12% more aircraft movements than in the last winter season.
