The Prague Congress Centre has reached a significant milestone in sustainability. After more than a year of preparation, it has obtained certification under the international standard ISO 20121:2024, which focuses on sustainability management systems in congress centres.
It has also become the first congress centre in the Czech Republic to receive this certification. This standard helps organisations manage the environmental, social, and economic impacts of their activities and adopt a responsible approach to planning and executing events. Sustainability thus becomes an integral part of the Prague Congress Centre’s daily operations and strategic direction.
Obtaining the certification was preceded by a series of internal steps—from reviewing processes to implementing them across the entire organisation. During preparations and the certification process, the Prague Congress Centre collaborated with Greenometer, which provided expert support.

The certificate was accepted by Tomáš Brejcha, Marketing and ESG Manager at the Prague Congress Centre, from Lukáš Holub, CEO of the certification company LL-C (Certification).
Obtaining ISO 20121:2024 is another step in the Prague Congress Centre’s long-term commitment to responsible business practices and the sustainable development of its services.
