The younger sibling of the iconic Ljubljana restaurant beneath Rožnik

Bistro Čad is a popular event venue in Ljubljana, located in the city’s green oasis beneath Rožnik Hill. The bistro, just a short distance from Gostilna Čad, is situated within the boutique Hotel Čad. It is known for its rich culinary offering and, above all, its elegant interior, making it an appealing setting for celebrations, business meetings, or any other type of event.

The bistro’s interior is pleasantly designed and flexible, making it suitable for a wide range of events where guests feel comfortable and relaxed. During the winter months, event organisers can host gatherings in the spacious indoor area, while in warmer seasons guests can enjoy the garden overlooking the blooming nature. The maximum capacity of the bistro is 100 participants indoors, and up to 150 including the outdoor terrace.

Did you know?

The family tradition of hospitality beneath Rožnik began in 1889, when master baker Jožef Čad opened a wine tavern with permission to sell home-produced goods and baked products. Even then, the venue hosted numerous events, especially in the summer garden.

Bistro Čad also represents an excellent starting point for exploring Ljubljana. Event organisers can combine meetings with a range of incentive activities, from exploring Tivoli Park by electric bike to a walk up to nearby Rožnik.
