HONEY-THEMED EVENTS
Posestvo Frjan lies at an altitude of 500 metres beneath Korenski Hill, sheltered by the Polhov Gradec Hills. The estate is an organic farm spanning an impressive 35 hectares, primarily focused on livestock farming, forestry and beekeeping. The estate has received several awards for its honey production at the agricultural fair in Gornja Radgona, including a gold medal for chestnut honey, as well as the title of category champion and a silver medal for floral honey last year. The apiary also features a dedicated space for apitherapy and honey massage treatments.
With sustainability at the forefront of its philosophy, Posestvo Frjan is one of the few farms combining modern practices and innovative projects while remaining committed to the “farm-to-table” principle. As early as 2008, the estate installed a solar power plant that went on to receive several awards. Guests can also stay overnight at the farm, falling asleep to the gentle hum of bees, as the guest room is located directly above the apiary.
At Posestvo Frjan, guests are treated to excellent homemade cuisine, while catering services are also available for events. Particularly popular are the beekeeping-inspired gifts for participants, especially the estate’s premium homemade honey. The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests, depending on the layout and the specific requirements of the event organisers.
