EVENTS WITH A BELA KRAJINA TOUCH
Set in the heart of Bela Krajina, Resort Village Majer is a renovated and contemporary take on a traditional Bela Krajina house, hosting team-building activities, training sessions and workshops for companies. Resort Village Majer actively promotes collaboration within the destination and supports the development of active tourism in Bela Krajina.
In line with a sustainable approach to development, the historic Majer estate at Resort Village Majer has been partly constructed using local and natural materials. The property reflects a harmonious interplay between nature and cultural heritage. Bela Krajina,stretching between Kočevski Rog, Gorjanci and the Kolpa River, is a region where the rugged limestone of the Karst meets the fertile fringes of the Pannonian Plain. It is a landscape rich in stories of the past, which event participants can discover through a variety of group activities.
Event organisers can host training sessions and workshops here, both indoors and outdoors, at Resort Village Majer. The venue also offers accommodation for up to 24 guests, where evening gatherings with accompanying culinary experiences can be arranged. To enrich the programme, participants can take part in hands-on activities such as baking the traditional Bela Krajina flatbread (belokranjska pogača), creating decorative Easter eggs (pisanice), or learning about the production of local wines, particularly Metliška črnina. For more active experiences, Resort Village Majer also offers the hire of electric bicycles.
