The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has, today, published the 2026 edition of the eGuide.

For nearly 20 years, the event industry-specific eGuide has been a fundamental source of guidance for UK venue, organiser, exhibitor and supplier companies. The eGuide provides easily accessible information on a multitude of topics related to event operation and management.

The 2026 eGuide edition features the appraisal of the six sections covering gas; medical cover; medical demonstrations and treatments; simulators, rides & inflatables; special effects; and special treatments.

Alden Arnold, head of commercial and projects, AEV, commented, “Creating a safe space for colleagues and visitors is always the priority, and the eGuide provides members across the industry with the supporting material to do that.”

Arnold added, “We are always grateful to our members and colleagues who offer their skills, expertise and time in maintaining the eGuide to ensure its content is up to date and valid. Their commitment and collaboration result in this essential resource.”

The AEV compiles the eGuide in consultation with its sister associations, the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) and Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA), through the AEV eGuide and the cross-association eGuide user working groups.

The 2026 eGuide is now available via the AEV website, offering a version with highlighted changes and the option to download six sections independently for added convenience.
