In Lauba, more than 500 professionals from the region experienced the unique LIVE & LOUD conference, where trends, experiences and emotions were in the limelight. The event was powered by Entrio and exceeded all expectations.

Research shows: audiences want more events, but information comes too late

The conference was opened by Berislav Marszalek, founder and CIO of Entrio, presenting a new study conducted in collaboration with Valicon on audience habits in October 2025. The results reveal that 4% more people bought tickets compared to 2024, but 80% of the audience still find out about events they would like to visit too late. As many as 40% of respondents said they would like more events on offer, and the ticketing market in Croatia continues to grow by 20% annually.

Marszalek pointed out that the data confirms the strong potential of the industry, and Entrio, as the first regional event intelligence agency, plans to regularly conduct research on trends, audience behaviour and market changes every year.

“The events industry has long been more than just entertainment – it is a serious business that employs thousands of people, generates tourist effects and shapes the identity of cities.”

Global keynotes from London and Texas

Global keynote speaker Tim Chambers, former vice president of Ticketmaster and Live Nation, openly stated in his lecture, The Price of Tickets, that ticket prices will continue to rise, but also emphasised that audiences are willing to pay for the emotional value of the experience. The second keynote was given by Scott Davidson, founder of Code 4 from Texas, a world-class expert in large-scale event safety, who spoke about the importance of preparing an event or festival: “The more risk scenarios you anticipate, the more prepared you are. Every department is responsible for its part, and safety is an integral part of the audience experience.”
