In traditional round table setups, approximately half of the guests are seated with their backs to the stage or screen. Throughout the event, attendees often need to turn their chairs to follow what is happening, which can disrupt both comfort and engagement.
The Meia Lua table was designed to resolve this issue. By dividing a round table into a half-moon format, Europalco ensures that all guests are positioned with a direct line of sight to the stage. The configuration maintains the proximity and interaction of a shared dining table while aligning every seat toward the focal point of the event.

Efficient use of space
Beyond visibility, the half-moon table format also supports more efficient use of space. Because it occupies less floor area than a full round table, it allows for more fluid room layouts and improved circulation. In venues with limited dimensions, this can translate into greater flexibility when defining seating plans and overall capacity.
Each half-moon table accommodates approximately five guests and is available exclusively for rental as part of Europalco’s integrated event production services. The tables are produced internally and reflect the company’s approach of developing practical solutions based on real project needs.
The tables feature a white melamine top and an aluminium structure, measuring 180 x 90 x 72 cm and weighing 30 kg. In addition to the standard white finish, they are available in multiple colours, including grey, black, red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise blue, blue, purple, violet, and pink; and can be customised with specific finishes or vinyl applications to align with client branding.
With the half-moon table, Europalco reinforces its commitment to improving how event spaces function, offering organisers a seating alternative that enhances visibility, comfort, and spatial efficiency without compromising the dining experience.
