The renovation of the meeting facilities on the first floor of Holiday Inn Prague has completely transformed meeting rooms A, B and D, along with the adjoining foyer. The result is a modern and airy environment combining elegant design, cutting-edge technology and maximum comfort for business meetings, conferences, training sessions and workshops.
One of the most distinctive features of the refurbishment is the emphasis on natural daylight. Newly installed glazed walls separate the individual spaces while maintaining privacy, creating a greater sense of openness, and allowing natural daylight to flow throughout the entire floor. The overall atmosphere feels fresh, energising and perfectly suited to all-day events.
The space’s layout has also undergone a significant transformation. The original meeting room D has been converted into a foyer, while the former foyer now serves as the new meeting room D. Combined with an elevated stage, the space has become an ideal setting for presentations, panel discussions and networking events. Natural daylight, together with a clearly defined presentation area, enhances concentration and contributes to a more dynamic event experience.
The modernisation also included a complete upgrade of the technological equipment, enabling intuitive control directly within the rooms via touch panels or remotely through a mobile application. The conference facilities are equipped with professional Bose audio technology, fixed projectors in Rooms A and B, and mobile widescreen displays that can be flexibly used depending on the nature of the event.
The audio system supports wireless Bluetooth streaming, connection for up to four wireless microphones and audio transfer between individual rooms. Particular attention was also paid to indoor environmental quality. An air quality monitoring system together with CO₂ sensors helps maintain optimal conditions during long meetings, contributing to greater comfort, improved concentration and the overall well-being of participants.
The atmosphere of every event is further enhanced by zoned lighting with pre-set scenarios tailored to different event types, from presentations to networking evenings.
