Just days after joining, Toleranca marketing helped deliver the ICCA Central European Chapter Meeting in Ljubljana, organised by Ljubljana Tourism in cooperation with the agency and other partners. Held from 6 to 8 September, the meeting welcomed 90 professionals from 19 countries, representing 69 organisations. Among the esteemed attendees was also ICCA CEO Senthil Gopinath.
A chapter meeting with a wider perspective
Under the theme “Change Your Perspective”, the Ljubljana programme examined what will make international meetings relevant and memorable in the years ahead. Discussions ranged from artificial intelligence and creativity to air connectivity, destination competitiveness, and changing expectations for venues.

Local expertise in a global network
For Toleranca marketing, ICCA membership builds on work spanning event organisation, strategic marketing and industry communications. The agency focuses on Central, South East and Eastern Europe; its activities include congress and event delivery, destination marketing and publishing through Kongres Magazine. Participation in ICCA gives that regional experience a place in a network devoted specifically to international association meetings, with opportunities for professional exchange, education and business development.
The next major gathering on ICCA’s calendar is its 65th Congress in Panama City, from 8 to 11 November 2026. ICCA expects more than 1,000 event professionals from over 80 countries, along with representatives from more than 100 international associations.
