Q: How would you describe the event and what were the key objectives?

Kopaonik Business Forum took place in the Conference Centre of the Grand Hotel Kopaonik from 8th to 10th March and brought together a record number of participants – 820 government representatives, domestic and foreign business people, diplomats, economic analysts, theorists, international experts and media representatives.

KEY CHALLENGES

Organizing the biggest event of its kind in the region acquired all of the accommodation and conference facilities in the MK Mountain Resort. The first challenge was fulfilling all the necessary protocols for high profile clients including business, diplomacy and government cord.

The second challenge was simultaneously organizing more than 20 sessions, presentations and panels. Along with that came planning and organizing additional events – press conferences, cocktail parties, humanitarian outdoor events.

CREATIVITY

  • Organizing a humanitarian ski event with the aim to raise founds for neonatal care.
  • Interactive giveaways in between sessions.
  • Creative ways of various product placement and sponsors presentations during the event (on site testings of new off road vehicles, tasting premium products, tasting the last generation of high tech gadgets).

INNOVATION

  • Newly opened congress center in Hotel Grand with the latest generation of technical equipment. Providing live streaming from all the panels.
  • Smart technologies registration provides real time information regarding forum agenda, company profiles and service information about outdoor activities, entertainment, dining, spa & wellness offer etc.

EXECUTION

Organizing this kind of event in the middle of peak winter season was definetely a hard job. We set up more than 10 conference and meeting halls for simultaneous operation and 24h technical support on the highest level. When the working park was over we organized a gala dinner, protocol dinners, and cocktails for 1000 participants.

MEASURABLE RESULTS

The quality of the program together with remarkable hotel services and facilities have insured the following:

  • More than 500 media releases
  • More than 10 other events generated by Business Forum

COMMUNICATION

Invitation letters were sent to representatives, domestic and foreign business people, diplomats, economic analysts, theorists, international experts and media representatives. There were also media announcements on leading regional medias and hundreds of b2b meetings. We cooperated with the Serbian Economists Association and the Association of Corporate Directors of Serbia, aswell as with numerous sponsors and partner agencies.
