After a lengthy selection procedure that culminated with two inspection visits both to the company offices and a selected conference, C-IN has been accepted as a member of IAPCO, the most important industry organization which brings together highly qualified professional congress organizers (PCOs). The Association is extremely diligent about member applications and thus continues striving for quality.
C-IN is the leading company specialized in event, congress and association management in the Czech Republic. Its team of 35 professionals has organized over 550 projects for many important institutions, organizations and academic sectors throughout Europe. With the admission to IAPCO,
C-IN has been recognized among the best professional congress organizers worldwide.
C-IN is the only company with headquarters in the Czech Republic to be represented in the ranks of IAPCO. “Through our membership, we will seek to increase our international network and skills,” says Aleš Pejsar, the Director of Sales and Marketing of C-IN, adding: “The admission to IAPCO is an international recognition of our expertise. We wish to make use of it in our further expansion on European markets.”
As with all member applications, entry criteria were strict, with two site appraisal inspection visits both to the company offices and an event organized by it. During the selection procedure, IAPCO requires that all candidates submit a questionnaire about the fully completed international congresses. The events must have been attended by delegates from more than five different countries, with a minimum of 40 % foreign participation. In addition, at least five of them must have been attended by at least 400 participants and the other five by at least 100 delegates.
Not only the scale of the past and future congresses is taken into consideration, but also the references received from clients and other IAPCO members. It is on receipt of satisfactory references that an IAPCO Council Member proceeds to an appraisal visit to the selected congress or conference organized by the applicant and to the applicant’s office.
The IAPCO representatives had an inspection visit to the 42nd EDTNA/ERCA International Conference, which took place in Malmö, Sweden from the 31st August to the 3rd September 2013 and hosted up to 1200 delegates from all over the world. The EDTNA/ERCA Association entrusted the organization of the Conference to C-IN for the sixth consecutive year. The team provided conference and association management services to the Association.
