On Thursday 23 October the shortlisted agencies will present live their projects, in a sort of “e-factor show”, to the Corporate Jury, to the Press Jury and to all delegates. At the end of the day the Sevilla Congress & Convention Bureau offers cocktails, dinner and show to all participants.
On Friday 24 October it’s proposed an interesting agenda comprised of conferences, technology labs and roundtables.
The sessions starts at 9.00 with a key note session: “Creative inspiration: Building truly memorable events”. Three events guru will be protagonists on the stage: Yves Delacollette, President – Chief Spectator Officer, Franco Dragone Entertainment Group will engage the audience in a speech called “Making innovation create powerful memories: Creativity to reality”. Soon after Miwa Matreyek, Animator and Filmmaker will introduce how from initial big new ideas it’s possible to define moments of art and imagination. Last but not least Luc Petit, Luc Petit Productions (invited) will introduce the power of emotion.
At 10.00 will be held a Technology Lab: “Harnessing new technology: Building digital experiences”. Carlo d’Asaro Biondo, President, Google SEEMEA (invited) will speak about: design and technology thinking, creativity and product development, justifying the cost of new IT and integration towards event ROI, embracing technology and getting your message across to entertain and impress, cultivating a technology-led mindset: emotional and sensory responses to IT.
At 11.00 the Business Challenge Round Table will be focused on the topics: Digital, web and social media: Tapping into the social economy, How do events fit into the wider and more traditional marketing mix: raising the game and profile as a powerful medium, Fostering change in the DNA of event teams and management: the internal customer ‘happiness model’, From digital to live experiences: how to build engagement and excitement. At 11.50 there will be the Pan European Debate: “Closing the cross-cultural, cross-country disconnect on European and international projects: beyond the basics and understanding the new digital rules” The speakers panel is comprised of: Milo Vergucht, CEO, 27Names, Beatrice Carli Moretti, Head of Communications Southern Europe, GlaxoSmithKline
At 12.20 the Freelance Writer, Director & Producer Shuang Zou will talk about “Asia Event Business: Key developments and why only the fittest will survive”
Before the networking lunch planned at 13.00, Benoit Conti, Director, Eurotasc will unravel the mystery of tenders and procurement: tips on how to secure and work with the European Commission.
The afternoon session will be opened at 14.30 by the keynote: “Innovative Video Projections: Shaping the future with video as an expressive artistic medium” held by Jon Brigden, Giggle Group.
Soon after, at 14.50, the keynote session by Andy Smith, Creative Director, Head of Production, and Screen Content Strategist will be focussed on “The art of setting: Innovation on the big screen”
At 15.10 will be discussed the case study: “Becoming a rockstar of events through inspirational production design”. Donald MacLean, Senior Director, Ride and Show at Universal Studios MoscowOrlando, Florida Entertainment will be its protagonist.
The mid- afternoon will be animated at 16.00 by the Business Challenge Roundtables: “Facilitated interactive business discussions started with short presentations”. On the stage Elling Hamso, Managing Partner, Event ROI Institute, Stefan Kozak, President, BTL Communications, Marco Forgione, CEO, EVCOM.
The last session of the day, at 17.00, is dedicated to the theme: “Co-creation, branding and innovation: Putting events into motion to create a beautiful relationship with customers”. Björn Wigforss, Global Events Director & Head of Publishers, Microsoft, Luca Favetta, Senior Director, HP Events, Hewlett-Packard and some other guests to be confirmed will discuss it.
The second day of the EuBEA Festival ends at 19.00 with the long awaited European Best Event Awards Gala.
