FOLLOWING KING'S TRAIL TO THE TOP
Suva Mountain, where the incentive takes us, is a massif in Southeast Serbia. With its extraordinary forms of karst relief, a treasury of sediments of different ages and rich in fossil flora and biodiversity with a unique phytocoenosis and a forest ecosystem, it was declared a nature reserve and a geoheritage site in Serbia. The day-long journey starts at Bojanine vode (Bojana’s Springs) and continues with the ascent over the saddle named Devojački grob (Maiden’s Grave) to Trem, higest peak with with an altitude of 1,810 meters.
One of the highlights of this hiking incentive trip is, if visibility permits, the view, not only of the southern part of Serbia but also of numerous mountains in Bulgaria and North Macedonia.
