Growing confidence in the market and The Meetings Show’s position as the UK’s premiere event for the meetings industry has delivered a surge in confirmations from brand new exhibitors.  Due to this significant growth, January 2015 was the Show’s most successful sales month to date.

In addition to those already announced, exhibitors attending for the first time in 2015 include: Moroccan National Tourist Office, Atout France, Italia Convention Bureau, Krakow Convention Bureau, Marketing Cheshire, Visit Blackpool Conference and Meetings, Wolverhampton City Council, Bournemouth International Centre, CCT Venues, Elite Hotels, Henley Conferences, Robinson College, The University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, Carden Park Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa and Shire Hotels

Many exhibitors are also increasing their stand size, allowing greater space for appointments with hosted buyers.  In addition to Israel Government Tourist Office who have increased by 60%, the Tourist Office of Spain has increased by 20%, VisitScotland by 25% and Sandals and Beaches Resorts by 50%.

Our exhibitor list is going from strength to strength and it is clear that we already have the widest range of meeting related exhibitors in the UK.  Our buyers have told us they wanted more UK exhibitors and I’m pleased to see we are delivering that on top of our already impressive international destination and hotel list.  The Meetings Show is clearly the perfect choice for meetings and event professionals looking to expand their knowledge and conduct business with potential suppliers.  These sales figures clearly show that the momentum is behind The Meetings Show and we look forward to a bumper event in July.” Commented Steve Knight, The Meetings Show’s Event Director.  “In addition to securing new exhibitors, we are seeing others such as the Barbican, return to a stand of their own or growing the size of their stand.  Most of these organisations are using The Meetings Show as their UK exhibition of choice.”

With destinations from around the world and suppliers ranging from hotels and venues to technology providers and leading industry associations, The Meetings Show’s comprehensive exhibitor list is balanced by a wide ranging education programme featuring around 100 separate sessions, a dedicated conference for meetingprofessionals working in the association market and extensive networking.

Organised by Centaur Exhibitions, The Meetings Show is the premiere event for the UK inbound and outbound meetings industry, taking place 7-9 July 2015 at Olympia, London. Organised by meeting professionals for meeting professionals it is focused around a large exhibition, networking opportunities and professional education.
