The Meetings Show in London has after 3 years from its first edition became a must spot for providers of meetings services to meet their potential clients.

More than 50% of the hosted buyers are coming from UK, which is also an important market for Slovenia.

GR-Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre is successfully using the platform of The Meetings Show to build the network of association and corporate clients that have potential to bring their congresses, conferences and other event to Ljubljana.

While Ana Bozic, sales manager of events & congress department was presenting GR to hosted buyers, her colleagues in Ljubljana were occupied with organization of the 58th International Wine Competition and 17th World Lace Congress and General Assembly taking part in these days.

Ana explained the importance of active participation at international exhibitions:

“The Meetings Show is much more than just three days exhibiting. it is a chance for congress centres and other providers to gather, share ideas and develop business opportunities. It takes some extra efforts to make the research before the show and find the way to get the clients attention, but its worth. I realized how important it is to be there not only for one year, but years in a row to built the network of potential partners, which helps you to get the real requests and furthermore business”.
