Q: What do you love about your job the most?
The traveling and the global exposure. The world is so big and has so much to offer and it’s wonderful that our industry enables us to discover it.
Q: Where do you see the biggest opportunity in marketing and MICE industry?
With the increasing number of source markets, it’s virtually impossible to conduct one-on-one sales to each client. Marketing is now more important than ever to reach a wider audience.
Q: How do you deal with marketing jungle on daily basis?
I try to stick to a few channels each day so that I don’t overwhelm myself.
Q: How did the best events you attended so far make you feel?
The best events gave me a sense of purpose for my everyday work.
PERSONAL – BACKGROUND
Q: Looking at your bucket list, what is the one thing that you really wish to cross off until the end of 2017?
Personally I wanted to skydive, which I did in early June. Professionally I want to visit at least 3 new source markets around the world.
Q: If you could have dinner with anyone (alive or dead), who would you have dinner with and why?
Zeljko Obradovic, the legendary coach of Fenerbahce basketball team, to understand how can he perform at such a superior level, how he doesn’t let success get to his head and how he doesn’t let stress affect his love for his job.
Q: What would you share with our participants if you would have only one minute?
I would share the story of Turkish tourism, the one that boomed despite having a substantive marketing plan and that went bust without one.
Q: What are you bringing to Conventa Crossover?
I am bringing my interest in learning from others.
