Three municipalities of the north-west Slovenia, Bovec, Kobarid and Tolmin, joined their local tourism offices and established a shared association, Tourism Soča valley with a new director, Janko Humar.

Tourist information centres in Bovec, Kobarid, Tolmin and Podbrdo remain at their current location with new Tourism Soča valley’s headquarters at the Bovec airport. Ongoing programme of municipalities Bovec, Tolmin and Kobarid are in full swing, with planned new shared web portal for the valley, booking system, social media channels and other IT infrastructure.

The new joined Tourism Soča valley is already a part of leading tourist destinations in new Slovenian tourism strategy. It is fair to expect that the joined association will also boost congress tourism in the area.
