CD Congress Centre Ljubljana is hosting the 10th Liquid Matter Conference (LMC) which welcomed more than 600 scientists to learn and share their knowledge on the liquid physics. From 17th until 21st July 2017, Slovenian capital is hosting this central global event in the field of physics and chemistry of liquids, dedicated to the review of the latest experimental and theoretical findings. The main topics of the conference, organized every 3 years, are ionic and liquid metals, water and solutions, liquid crystals, polymers, colloids, films and foams and enclosed liquids, glass and gels, active substances and biological fluids. The conference is presented by the most worldwide important researchers in these areas, with 681 participants from 49 countries and presented 887 abstracts.
The LMC world’s top scientific conference, organized jointly by the Jožef Stefan Institute and the University of Ljubljana is focusing on the liquid matter not only in the conference programme, but the organizer and CD Congress Centre Ljubljana will also implement the topics importance into the additional services and because of the cultural-ecological reason and the good quality of the Ljubljana water they will serve the »network/tapped« water on all “coffee breaks” with emphasizing the awareness of good quality water. This also goes in accordance with Ljubljana »Green capital« awareness, which the city has already incorporated greatly in their everyday lives and also professional services in terms of MICE industry. Ljubljana is one of the few European capitals that boasts natural and high quality drinking water, untreated with technological procedures, which is from the tap.
