The opening of the new eight stories high Hilton in Beograd, at the crossroad of King Milutin and King Milan street was really grand. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić together with premier minister Ana Brnabić, the minister of tourism Rasim Ljajić , the mayor of Beograd Siniša Mali, the ambassador of USA Kyle Scott, vice president of the campaign “Hilton” for Europe Joe Jan Šlajfer, the “Belaga Management Belgrade” company representative Zlatko Zdunjić and Nikolas Huvert, the general manager of Hilton Belgrade.

The five-star Hilton hotel Belgrade has 242 rooms including 19 suites and has 656 square meters of meeting space, as well as a ballroom. The hotel has spa treatment rooms, a sauna, a fitness center, and “Two Kings”, a restaurant serving Serbian and international dishes. In addition, on the last floor, there is a “Sky Lounge”, whose offer is based on Asian cuisine.

“Hilton” is the world’s leading company with a portfolio of 14 world brands, which includes more than 5,100 properties with nearly 838,000 rooms in 103 countries across the globe.

The foundation stone for the new hotel in Beograd was laid in April 2016 and it took only one year and 9 months for the project to be finished. The hotel will employ about 300 people, and the contractors were mainly companies from Serbia.

The hotel will greet the first guests on the 8th March.
