To explore Šibenik‘s rich history and stunning natural beauties, incentive programme Dalmatian Historical Time Machine offers an adventorous jeep ride.

Driving along Dalmatian roads, the Jeep Safari stops by the royal town of Knin to hear the stories about the Croatian kings, their conspiracies, coronations and legends. After a short walk and sightseeing of the city’s fortress overlooking the area and a view at the Knin panorama, the drive continues towards the National Park Krka and its beautiful Krčić waterfall.

Macadam roads along the Dinara mountain (highest Croatian peak) then lead onto an exciting historic adventure starting in 9th century in the St. Salvation Church and a visit to its 1100 old tombs.

Next stop – Cetina river spree! Refreshing and mesmerizing beauty of pure nature where lunch time arises. Guests get treated with an authentic Dalmatian lunch – also, a kind of meal local people still eat on a daily basis. The lunch’s start consists of a welcome drink (domestic grapa / rakija) and appetizer (olive oil and cheese) and continues with several types of roast meat, home grown roasted potatoes and vegetables. It will be served in the authentic tavern/stone house in the olive grove and followed with the tasting of the local wine.

The trip finishes with a stop – or rather with the most beautiful Croatian postcard – on a gorgeous belvedere/viewpoint overlooking the Visovac island, located in the area of National Park Krka.

Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses are highly recommended for Šibenik is one of the sunniest areas in Europe.
