Q: In your opinion, what makes Salzburg special?

In my opinion, Salzburg is special because Mozart was born in Salzburg. Secondly, Salzburg has a beautiful landscape and I think you will not find another city with three hills in the old town. The most special thing is, in my opinion, the skyline of Salzburg. For example You are in “Mirabellgarden” you have the most beautiful view you can imagine.

Q: Where would you take someone to ‘feel’ the vibe of Salzburg and what is your best incentive idea in Salzburg?

I would take someone to the “Getreidegasse” to “feel” the vibe of Salzburg. The best incentive idea in Salzburg is in my opinion the trick fountains, because this is unique and you will not find it somewhere else.

Q: What do you see as crucial marketing elements to lure meeting planners?

I think it is always important so promote not only the hotel, but the whole city. Because most of the companies love it, to spend at least one evening outside the event location. Salzburg offers a wide range of activities – team events in the beautiful landscape, exploring a historic and beautiful city and so on.

For current logistics and transport restrictions of the city medium sized congresses with up to 2,500 participants are best suited.
