GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre (GR) does not just host mayor international fairs and congresses, but it also takes care of its own production and execution of events. GR has this year hosted in its own organisation six major events: 29th International trade show and exchange for active leisure time – Natour Alpe-Adria (31 January – 3 February, 2018); 57th international Home Fair (12 March  – 18 March, 2018); Vino Ljubljana – 60th International Wine Competition (13 April – 15 April, 2018); Ambient Ljubljana – Furniture Fair (7 November – 11 November, 2018); 3rd International Home Fair+ (7 November – 11 November, 2018); and the 49th fair named Nature-Health (29 November – 2 December, 2018).

However, next year, GR will bring to the world a new event in its own organisation. The event called The Days of Intergenerational Coexistence is scheduled for mid-May. The main themes of the event go as follows: labor market and retirement, entering the labor market (mentoring older people for younger people), labor market and older workers, and last but not the least, the pension system and the demographic fund.

With the fair, the GR wants to offer a space for the presentation and promotion of innovative approaches, programs and projects of intergenerational activities which contribute to the construction of a tolerant, culturally and socially responsible environment. GR hopes that the fair will become a meeting point for service providers, products, programs, and activities for young, middle-, and older generations.

Anticipated more than 15 thousand visitors, will visit the exhibition as well as join the diverse educational and cultural events as a part of the fair’s programme.
