CONVENTA’S SURPRISES IN 2019
An apple did not hit just Newton’s head, but it has also hit Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana with a meteor speed of more than 3300 meetings in two days! And it is totally ripe! Here are some of the things participants of the 11th Conventa came across during their time in Ljubljana.
AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY
In Conventa’s new decade, we are connecting the destinations with a new visual image based on apples that will represent the region in the future. At the event, the soft and fresh apples of local origin will be at hand. We advise you to have each day a bite of this super fruit to maintain your health and good mood.
STOW COFFEE ROASTERS AT CONVENTA
From the very beginning, the Conventa story is symbolized by coffee. This year continued to upgrade our coffee experience. We invited the biggest Slovenian experts – the Stow café team, famous for its uncompromising quality. Professional baristas made sure you got a coffee you cannot find at other events.
CONVENTA TV
During the event, a TV studio in which video interviews were recorded operated. CONVENTA TV is integrated into the web portals www.kongres-magazine.eu and www.conventa.si, as well as into all social channels, where the interviews will be published.
AUSTRIAN LIBRARY
In cooperation with Advantage Austria, participants were able to take some time out in the well-equipped Austrian library, located in the Marmorna Hall. The hosts took care of informative literature and additional information on the Austrian conference offer.
CONVENTA WALL OF WISHES
Participants could write their personal and business wishes for 2019 on the Wall of Wishes. It was located in the lobby of the Marble Hall in the Conventa Stow coffee shop.
CONVENTA FUTURE TRENDS SURVEY
Since the development of the meetings industry is getting faster, forecasting the future is very ungrateful and much more difficult. That is why we decided to prepare a comprehensive survey which is featured in this year’s Conventa Catalogue. Key findings from the survey could be checked at the Conventa Trend Bar at 3:00 pm every day.
CONVENTA RELAXATION LOUNGE
At the TIME OUT Event’s Happy SPAce corner participants could get a FREE 20-minute Access Bars Taster, a gentle stress-release, quiet-your-mind manual therapy that brings you back into balance and creates ease, peace and a sense of well-being similar to a massage or meditation. It is like formatting your hard disk to open up space for something different.
CONVENTA SLIK-SLIK EXPERIENCE
This year’s photo booth was a special surprise that we prepared together with the Slik-Slik company. Guests took home some really cool and unique photos that will make them laugh long after the event concluded.
CONVENTA JINGLE
Every year, we put all our heart into making Conventa happen, and we hope you felt a part of that energy yourself! For boosting good energy, music was concentrated in a special Conventa Jingle which accompanied the participants throughout the whole event.
LJUBLJANA DRAGON
Did you know that Ljubljana was the city of dragons? Indeed, Ljubljana’s main symbol is a green dragon. Ljubljana even has a Dragon Bridge. In order to give you a proper experience of Slovenia’s capital, its green dragon flew around Conventa’s rooms and events. Watch out!
