The first ever B2B Croatian meeting industry trade show MEETEX – which will gather 60 international buyers i.e. specialized agencies, corporations and international associations will be held in Zagreb, The Westin Zagreb Hotel, 19 – 21 March 2019. It is organized by the Croatian Meeting Professionals Association (CMPA) and Inovativni eventi company.
The partners and sponsors of MEETEX are Croatian National Tourist Board – Convention Bureau, City of Zagreb, Zagreb Tourist Board, Croatia Airlines, Ministry of Tourism, Croatian Chamber of Commerce, The Westin Zagreb Hotel, Canopy by Hilton, Sheraton Zagreb, Hotel Esplanade, transportation company Hercex and Eldra A/V.
The main objective of MEETEX is to connect the Croatian suppliers and international buyers from Meeting Industry sector. Among international buyers there are representatives from Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lituania, The Nethelands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and Great Britain.
Total of 72 suppliers from all Croatian business events destinations will present to buyers their products and services. 56 of them are hoteliers, DMC and PCO agencies and tourist boards with convention bureaus. Additional 16 exhibitors will be from technical and other event services providers.
During the 2 working days of the trade show there will be more than 1200 1-to-1 business meetings. The working program will be moderated by renowned Croatian and international experts in the field. The event combines a lot of networking and the social program as well. This format enables buyers to familiarize with each other and get a glimpse of city of Zagreb, a high quality and attractive business events destination. Whole Croatia, as the leading business events destination in South-East Europe has a lot to show and offer to international buyers and organizers.
The strongest supporters of MEETEX from the beginning were Croatian National Tourist Board and its Convention Bureau, City of Zagreb, Zagreb Tourist Board and the national carrier Croatia Airlines.
